Obsolete odorant equipment at a large natural gas compression station in a highly sensitive area in the downtown of a major city in the Northeastern US was being replaced by new equipment. The old equipment had to be decommissioned and removed within the strictest “no odor” constraints. MRR disconnected the odorant system using skilled technicians, proven procedures, patented carbon filters and odor-kill Deomer spray. For added safety, all contaminated equipment was transported inside a sealed marine container to the MRR treatment facility for final treatment and destruction.
