The Midland Resource Recovery (MRR) OdorTracker is an automated odorant-monitoring system that is suitable for permanent or temporary odorization installations and available for Class I Div 1 and Class I Div 2 hazardous locations.
Odorant Monitoring System
Our automated mercaptan level sampling system is far less costly than an in-line gas chromatograph. The OdorTracker is more accurate and reliable than sniff tests, hand-held monitoring devices or mercaptan detector stain tubes. The system can be configured to measure tert-butyl mercaptan (TBM), thiophane (THT) or total sulfur.
The OdorTracker samples gas from the pipeline at regular intervals and logs the odorant levels in flash memory. The user can download the data locally or remotely. There is an optional communication module that displays the data in a trending chart on a password protected web page, permitting the user to access the data by a computer or even on their smartphone. Now high and low-level alarms can be texted or emailed to the designated personnel to facilitate a rapid response.
Mitigate Under and Over Odorization
The OdorTracker is ideal for monitoring odorant levels at remote locations and provides risk management documentation. The mercaptan level monitoring system is available for purchase or lease.
