An odorization system has to perform for decades, through seasonal temperature swings, changing gas quality, and evolving regulations. Getting the design right at the start is the difference between a system that runs quietly for years and one that generates leak calls, site visits, and unplanned costs.

MRR designs, engineers, fabricates, and installs complete odorization systems for natural gas, LPG, and renewable natural gas applications across North America. MRR works across all major odorizer platforms and system types, and can carry the full EPC scope on an odorization project: engineering and design with Professional Engineer (PE) stamping where required, procurement and fabrication, removal of existing equipment, and turnkey installation and commissioning. Systems are built with orbital-welded construction on the liquid and vapor sides to minimize leak points, and every odorant tank ships in steel secondary containment sized to capture the full volume, so a failure stays contained rather than becoming a site event.

Custom Engineered Odorization Systems

MRR designs odorization systems around the way the system will actually operate. Our team evaluates flow, pressure, odorant requirements, redundancy, controls, site conditions and applicable standards before developing the equipment configuration, drawings and documentation required to build the system.

Skid Design & Fabrication

MRR manufactures odorant tank skids of all sizes, with entries customized to your operation: dual liquid dip tubes for filling and supply, vapor entries for filling and blanket gas, pressure relief, a mechanical level gauge, and optional guided wave radar for redundancy and accuracy. Every tank sits in steel secondary containment sized to capture the full odorant volume, with room for the odorant pump and a passive carbon filter, so even a failure stays contained.

Buildings & Station Design

Odorization equipment lasts longer when it's protected. MRR designs station buildings and custom enclosures that shield odorizers, tanks, and containment from the elements, extending equipment life, keeping rainwater out of secondary containment, and keeping every component serviceable. Designs account for siting realities: residential and commercial surroundings, temperature extremes, overpressure protection, and depressurization equipment.

Delivery Trucks & Transfer Equipment

Moving odorant safely takes purpose-built equipment. MRR designs and builds specialized transfer assets, including DOT-compliant delivery configurations and the MRR Odorant Transfer/Injection Trailer, with containment and vapor control integrated from the start. The same equipment carries MRR's own delivery and transfer services, so it is proven in the field before it arrives on your site.

Turnkey Installation & Commissioning

MRR technicians deliver the complete installation: orbital welding on liquid and vapor sides, odorant delivery and first fill, odorizer start-up, and operator training before turnover. Where an existing system is being replaced, MRR decommissions and removes the old equipment on the same mobilization. One crew, one point of accountability, and a full transition from old system to new.
