Odorization Buildings
Description
An MRR Odorization Building is a complete odorization system, tank, injection equipment, secondary containment, and environmental controls, built and tested as a single unit at MRR's plant, then shipped to site as one integrated structure. Instead of constructing the system in place at an operating station, the entire build happens off-site, compressing what would otherwise be weeks of field construction, permitting, and traffic disruption down to a placement and tie-in window.
Each building is sized to the operator's flow requirements, regional climate, and site footprint rather than picked from a catalogue. The tank is installed within its secondary containment, the odorizer equipment is mounted and connected, and environmental controls and lighting are installed, all under controlled shop conditions. The complete unit is tested as a system before it leaves the plant. On site, crews handle crane placement onto the prepared foundation, connections to the operator's gas piping and electrical systems, leak and pressure testing, initial odorant delivery, and commissioning. Every building ships with a full documentation package, manufacturing records, engineered drawings, a commissioning report, and operating manuals, along with operator training as part of the handover.
