EZ Carb™ Activated Carbon Filters
Description
The MRR EZ Carb™ Activated Carbon Filter removes odorant vapor at the source using a patented bed of activated carbon and an air distributor housed in a DOT-approved drum, delivering long-term, cost-effective odor removal that's easy to operate and maintain. It's the design gas utilities and odorization providers have standardized on.
Every filter ships with an intrinsically safe 1/3 hp blower motor rated at 200 CFM, UL listed for Class I Group D, Class II Group F&G, and Class I Zone I Group IIA locations. It's available in 30-gallon and 55-gallon configurations with the blower mounted directly on the drum, or as a 55-gallon extended-suction configuration that connects the blower to the drum by hose instead, so the filter can sit away from the vapor source when station layout requires it. MRR's cartridge replacement service eliminates the need to handle contaminated carbon on site — spent carbon is collected, recycled, and reused.
